Valley Clean Air Now (Valley CAN), is a 501(c)(3) public charity committed to quantifiably reducing air emissions in California’s San Joaquin Valley, the region with the worst air quality in the United States.
TUNE IN & TUNE UP SMOG REPAIR EVENTS
If you live in the San Joaquin Valley and suspect your vehicle may have smog or emissions issues, or if your vehicle failed an emissions test, you may qualify for a $500 voucher redeemable at a local STAR-certified smog shop.
DRIVE CLEAN IN THE SAN JOAQUIN
VEHICLE REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
Get money from the Valley Air District to replace your older, high-polluting vehicle with a newer vehicle or upgrade to a hybrid or electric vehicle. The program is limited to vehicle owners residing in the jurisdiction of the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District who meet the income and vehicle requirements.

Workforce Development exists to empower communities through inclusive, high-quality workforce education, providing training, support, and mentorship so individuals can build careers, gain independence, and strengthen their communities.
